During the fall trimester, we host a reunion for alumni who graduated twenty-five or more years ago. They attend classes and assembly, cheer on teams, and enjoy dinner and speeches at the local Country Club. They are familiarizing themselves with a school they once knew, and which has evolved organically. The June reunion (which we held this Saturday) generally attracts folks between five and twenty-five years out. They return--often with young children in tow-- to connect and network, seeing teachers they knew, and have a ball.
Despite a different timeframe, the school has still evolved, so we start with a guided tour to facilities built since 1994, and introduce exciting plans for the future.
The tour paused for a class photo.
Many head out to the school's pristine swim area at Elbow Pond for the afternoon.
Next, we convene for hors d'oeuvres and class photos outside the dining room.
After dinner, the action moves back to the Wise Center, where
Nick's Other Band entertains until midnight.
