Thursday evening at 6:15 buses loaded with seniors arrived at the 230-foot
MS Mt. Washington in Wiers Beach for a two-and-a-half hour dinner cruise circumnavigating Lake Winnipesaukee.
Given the hour and our youthful crew, the first order of business was a buffet dinner featuring chicken parmesan, lasagna, salads, etc.
A disc jockey successfully got a crowd dancing in the main salon, (out of the gusty northwesterly,) but as the sun provided greater direct light, the outer decks became a fluid photo-shoot with Canons and Nikons competing for attention.
This senior class is smaller than most, and it displays a unique style. It contains uncommon diversity, but is united in a common spirit. This night, the energy level was palpable, as graduation approaches.
