Each day at WOW! has a different theme, and our friends at Pat's Peak go way overboard to wow us with unexpected presentations and surprise events (see Bourbon Street, New Hampshire.) Wednesday's theme was "On Broadway," and we enjoyed deli fare served by rude waiters at lunch, but--at dinner--failed to anticipate the arrival of a rowdy and raucus transvestite named "Ella" whom they flew in from Washington DC just for our intense entertainment.
Ella belted out a couple of raunchy tunes dressed in a stunning red sequin dress, and reappeared later for "When You're Good to Mama" in an exquisite, tight fitting, blue ensemble.
Thursday was Hawaiian Day, and we took the ski lift to the top, where a beach had been imported complete with tiki lamps, nipa huts and a carved wooden idol labeled "Big Kahuna."
The overall effect of the past few days is a mix of exhileration, exhaustion and inspiration. We return to our disparate offices wiser for the WOW! experience.
We are here to teach schools and colleges to exceed their customers' expectations. The people at Pats Peak already know how!
