The winter drama production is always directed by a senior, and Eva W. and her team did a fine job producing Scooter Thomas Makes It to the Top of the World, a two-man retrospective on the trials of youth. Here are Kyler and Sam:
Speaking of retrospectives and youth, the theme for Saturday night's semi-formal dance was "the Eighties." A dance can prompt anxieties for adolescents as they grapple with issues of esteem, love and rejection. Desperate for dates, Jake and Matt searched the bio labs.
The students who attend Proctor were born between 1985 and 1990, and demonstrated little understanding of that decade's fashion and style Saturday night.
That did not get in the way of a good time....
