Today's page is comprised of photos taken by current parents. First, we go to Kimball Union Academy, where JV Girls' Tennis dominated the Lakes Region Tournament, winning three out of four divisions. Coach Larry Ballin writes, "With seven schools competing, Proctor players advanced to the finals in all four divisions.... In the #2 doubles bracket, Jackie Cooper and Caroline Deans won 8-6, having won previous bracket matches 8-5 and 8-1. " Here are Caroline and Jackie, with trophies:

Larry continues, "Heidi Whitman, playing in the #2 singles bracket, worked her way to the finals with wins of 8-4 and 8-3. Whitman then went on to dispatch her finals opponent from Holderness 8-1. #1 singles player Sara Paulshock advanced to the finals with a first round bye then an 8-0 victory. In her finals match, Paulshock incredibly overcame a 0-5 deficit early in her match, and fought back to defeat her Holderness opponent 9-7." Pictured below are Heidi Whitman and Sara Paulshock:

Now we go back to Carr Field, in Andover, where Varsity Girls' Lacrosse defeated a New Hampton team that had beaten us earlier in the season. The lady Hornettes led 4-2 at the half, after which the middies picked up the pace.

Young Bridget Gilroy and Brit King each scored three goals, and Emily Summers (pictured faking a defender to her knees) had two in the 10-3 win.
