Teams Work
5/22/2005

Again and again, we break students into small teams with common goals. Whether it's a dorm (averaging 12), an advisee group, math class or afternoon activity, teams work. A peak in the dugout of a successful baseball team:

Girls varsity lacrosse is another fine team. Here's Brittany cutting through New Hampton's defense for a goal in yesterday's win:

It has been a tough season for boys' lacrosse teams....

....but can anyone fault their teamwork?

Proctor's kitchen crew is a special team that has only improved this year with the addition of some great, new talent. Emily goes in for the score.
Sara delivers a backhand in Wednesday's league tournament at Proctor.
Jeremy has success with a patient, high, topspin forehand.

Under the guidance of visiting artist Fred Brownstein P'05, Lucy and Taylor wield chisel and mallet on a student-designed totem pole at the center of campus.
Alex has everything under control at the scorer's table.
The outcome of this team approach haircut was so disasterous that Alex had to spend $12 at New Horizons...barging in without an appointment! (They understood.)
Lax coach Chris Bartlett executes a little discipline.
