It is a glorious early winter day in central New Hampshire, with five inches of fresh powder covering Thursday's base. Several athletic contests were cancelled due to poor travel conditions, but three home teams notched victories this weekend. Coach Mike Walsh writes, "The (Hebron) Lumberjacks lit the lamp early in the middle frame to take a 2-1 lead but that goal got the hive buzzing and the Hornets rattled off three straight tallies to take a 4-2 lead." Here is Breslin's game-winner:

JV girls' basketball, JV boys and boys' varsity all earned wins. The varsity is stacked with talented youth, including Jerome, a junior, who may be the most talented player to don Proctor green:
